The Sari Fabric are recycled from Sari Garment cuttings. Washed, dried and cut to size. Mist Sari Fabrics are not colour safe and can bleed when washed.

Sari: Dark Ocean Turquoise Blue. Sari Threads.

Approximately 70 cm/27 inch lengths. One size fits most for triple wrap. Tie Toggle Closure.

My Sea Glass washed ashore at Seaham Beach in England, U.K. All shaped and frosted by The Sea and Time only. Every piece is unique and differ in colour/shade, shape and size.

My inspiration for this collection comes from the glistening sunshine and moonbeams on the ocean surface on a beautiful afternoon and night. And Genuine Sea Glass truly has this magic sparkle!

I paired my beauties with ribbons, charms and other treasures and created a fun boho style jewellery for you 🌞🌝

Sari/ Saree

The sari is a garment traditionally worn in India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal. It can be an heirloom passed down through generations, or a purely functional garment worn everyday. It’s seen on streets and runways, and has influenced fashion designers across the world.

The sari can be made of Silk, Cotton or other materials in different colours and pattern.

What is Sea Glass?

Genuine Sea Glass has been rolled and tumbled in the ocean for many years, some for decades or even a century and longer, until the edges are rounded off and the appearance is frosted.
All little dents and scratches are natural and that makes it so unique and beautiful.

Sea Glass is all shaped and frosted by The Sea and Time only. Every piece is unique and differs in colour, shape and size.


The Meaning of SEA GLASS

Sea Glass is believed to be a symbol of renewal and healing, a metaphor for life. Originally simply glass outlived its usefulness or is broken and ended up in The Sea.

It represents resilience and ability to adapt and thrive in change.

Spiritually it is believed that it gathers healing and cleansing properties from its time in The Sea.

The Legend of Mermaid Tears

There are a few legends being told. Here is one of them:
Neptune forbid the sea maidens to use their abilities to change the course of nature. But one of the mermaids fell in love with a ship’s captain and calmed the wind and waves to save the man’s life during a stormy night. Neptune exiled her to the depths of the ocean. Never to see the sunlight again. Still today her tears wash up on the shore as seaglass as a reminder of her true love.
